Dr. KARIMI has a global experience in healthcare, biotech, life science, and pharmaceutical industry covering North America (NA), Latin American (LA), Europe, Middle East & Asia (EMEA), and Asia Pacific (APAC). His experience covers Johnson & Johnson (J&J), Ethicon (J&J), Janssen Pharmaceutical (J&J), Sanofi (French Pharmaceutical), Synthes (Swiss Medical Devices), Medtronic, Smith+Nephew, Hearst Health, Zynx Health, FDB Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield (Premera of WA & Horizon of NJ), Providence Healthcare and Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW) including French multinational consulting CAPGEMINI (one of the Big 5 consulting firms for business transformation).
Dr. KARIMI specializes in medical technologies and has managed large and complex transformational projects such as Oracle & SAP ERP implementation and Enterprise Data Warehouse migration to Cloud Data Warehouse (EDW to CDW) that includes Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Snowflake & IBM Netezza, and understands healthcare delivery, including healthcare privacy & data standards (HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR, FHIR, WCAG, etc.). He also specializes in medical product management and has managed complex programs on medical device product releases with a focus on remediation for compliance and global regulations. These product releases included innovative clinical program consisting of both cranial and spine projects covering neuro-tumor, tumor trauma, epilepsy release schedules and regulatory compliance conformity. He has managed these complex programs and projects using AGILE Kanban methodology ensuring flexibility of many moving parts throughout the product lifecycle.
